Work with us
The Finer Edit welcomes relevant press releases, invitations, gifted experiences, review opportunities, advertising enquiries and partnership proposals.
We are especially interested in restaurants, hotels, cultural destinations, events, food producers, interiors, books, family-friendly experiences, independent businesses, beautiful places and UK lifestyle stories with a natural editorial fit.
We are drawn to stories with atmosphere, craft, setting, flavour, design, warmth or a genuine reason to be shared. The best features should feel at home in the magazine, not squeezed into it because a press release arrived with three adjectives and a hopeful attachment.
How we work
Commercial relationships will always be disclosed clearly. Inclusion is never guaranteed, and editorial recommendation remains separate from paid visibility.
When something has been personally visited, gifted, sponsored, affiliated, or written following an invitation, we will say so. Readers should never have to guess whether a feature is independent, commercial, researched or reviewed first-hand. We think trust is the whole point of a magazine like this, and we would rather lose a feature than lose that.
Poor experiences are generally declined quietly rather than written about. If we don’t think something is right for The Finer Edit, you will simply hear that from us, without a paragraph of explanation attached to a review.
What we’re open to
Press releases and invitations. If you think something genuinely fits the magazine, send it over. We read everything, though we can’t reply to all of it.
Gifted experiences and review opportunities. We’re happy to consider these where there’s a real editorial fit. Any resulting feature will be clearly marked as gifted or written following an invitation, with the same tone and care as everything else we write.
Sponsored features and partnerships. Occasionally we work directly with brands and places on a sponsored basis. These are always labelled as such, and we’ll only take them on where we think the result will genuinely sit well in the magazine.
Advertising. We carry a small number of advertising placements, kept deliberately limited so the magazine stays a pleasure to read. Get in touch for current availability and rates.
Paid directory listings. For businesses that would like a permanent presence in our guides outside of editorial coverage, we offer paid listings, clearly marked as such, with a note that inclusion does not imply or guarantee an editorial review or recommendation.
Getting in touch
The more specific you can be, the better, what the place or product is, why you think it suits The Finer Edit, and what you have in mind (a visit, a sample, images, a partnership). A short, well-aimed email will always do better here than a long press release with nothing for us to go on.
For general enquiries from readers, please use our Contact page instead.
This page is for brands, places, PRs and partners.
We look forward to hearing from you.

We aim to respond to relevant enquiries, though the volume we receive means we can’t reply to everything.
